The Review
- Ambience : 4.5 / 5
Beautiful is the word uttered when one enters the restaurant . The whole ethnic theme backed by well crafted interiors take you virtually to a Punjab Village ( a high end & sophisticated village though) .Wall paintings,Colour treatment,Texture,Tiles,Lightening etc. everything just falls in place to give a soothing feel.A fabricated tree right outside the kitchen area delightfully adds to graceful decor .
- Service : 4.0 / 5
The staff is courteous & well mannered and the service is quick too but the only thing missing is a little polished approach while serving the food , supported by a gentle smile please. Since the gestures of the serving staff have a very strong influence on the dining experience of guests and hence , while the staff here is very polite but adding some warmth to good mannerisms can make everything look even better.
- The Food : 4 / 5
The food in general is good with a vide variety of Veg & Non-Veg dishes to choose from [Checkout the Menu here : Pind Balluchi Menu ] but a particular Vegetarian dish which justifies an adjective like Luscious and deserves a special mention is undoubtedly the spicy Pindi Choley. Its kind of a flagship Veg dish at all the Pind Balluchi Restaurants.
Besides , the Kabab Platters form a good option too.
As for the drinks, while the alcohol is not available but some mocktails are definitely worth trying , especially the Blue Sea & the all weather Virgin Mojito [On a lighter note , Guys its pronounced as ‘Moito’ , please do away with the ‘J’ here 🙂 ]
Again the area which need a little improvement in the food section is not the preparation but the garnishing & the plate arrangement. Since the food is anyways good so why not let the Chef unleash his/her plating skills and shoot up the whole X -factor , isn’t it ?
- The Overall Verdict : 4.0 / 5
A good weekday and/or weekend eat out destination for families & foodies, especially for some wonderful Punjabi Tadka .
